Oh, that they may know you!

My deepest desire, my hearts longing...is that they may know you.

"Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him! Then He will resond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of the rains in early spring." Hosea 6:3

Oh, if only they knew Him. If they truly knew Him...
How many hurts would turn to joys.
The voids would be filled by His presence.
The questions would be answered.
The purposes, fulfilled.
A Saviour accepted and a sinner reconciled to his maker, the One he has longed for all along.

My heart overflows with love that does not come from me. I do not, in my simple ways, know how to love this deeply, or care this much. It is only His Holy Spirit within me, trying to connect with the ones He loves.

It is His love, that changes time, space and future.
It is His love, that moves mountains.
It is His love, that changes a nation.

Father, I pray, as St. Patrick did so many years ago-
Be before me, within me, around me.

Use me to draw everyone closer to your love...to fill the voids. That those who do not know you, may know you!
