A Christmas Miracle

"And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger..." Luke 2:7

Jesus, she named Him Jesus.
Little did we know that He would become our savior. Little did we know what He would do for us, because of His great love for us.

Consider this. God has always been. He existed before the world began, and then He decided to create the world, and all of us in it.

He knows the beginning from the end. He knew that Adam and Eve would choose to sin against Him. He knew that the world would become what it has become today. He knew He would have to send His only son, down to the world, to be born a baby in a manger-to one day die for the sins of the world.

No-to die for my sins, for your sins...for everyone's sins.

He knew His Son would finish it. He knew Jesus would live and die, and raise again. Even before He created the world. He knows all the details and everything in-between.

And He saw all the world despise Him, reject Him, blame Him for all the things wrong in the world. He saw His creation worshiping other gods-or worse...even become little gods themselves. He saw people hating Him, and killing those He loves, and He saw all the pain and sickness, and murder and hate. He saw us create injustice and become selfish.

He saw us basically mess everything up, and then blame Him for it.
So why in the world would He want to create us?

Simply because, He knew He would send a Christmas miracle that could save us from ourselves, and give us the opportunity to know Him and His son Jesus in a real and personal way. He knew He would give us the gift of grace, that we may be saved from our selfishness, and simply love Him, serve Him because of that great love, and then live in eternity with Him.

He still believed we were worth it. He still wanted us, for He loved us.

What an amazing God we serve, one that makes my heart flutter and my mind spin. One day, when we ALL stand before Him and give account for our lives, I hope and pray that YOU will be there-standing before Him, worshiping Him in His greatness; thanking Him for the salvation that we clearly do NOT deserve...but He gives to us so freely.

I stand in Awe of who my God is.
He is L-O-V-E.
Thank you for Jesus, our precious, almighty Christmas Miracle.
Merry Christmas all!
